Book Review: The Pumpkin Spice Cafe By Laurie Gilmore

Plot:

When Jeanie’s aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice Café in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job.

Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor’s gossip at all costs. But Jeanie’s arrival disrupts Logan’s routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.

Will Jeanie’s happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won’t fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…

Review:

Cute fall vibes. DO NOT GO INTO THIS THINKING ITS GG! The name Logan got me so confused because the author’s name and the timing of this release.

The town is so adorable and I loved the descriptions. It was the perfect way to ease myself back into lighter reads as I have been seeking something different. It was the perfect amount of predicability within a novel although I did start to get bored after 3/4 of the way in as it wasn’t moving anywhere. But I did enjoy reading this and seeing the farm, town, town meetings, book clubs, some drama going on in this small town and so forth.

Very hallmark if this is your style read it you will definitely enjoy it.
